Overview
The Abyss is the primary staging ground for your Biocraft army. Here, you explore the infinite Delve for resources, compete against other players in the Arena PvP Battles, and challenge Dark Depths bosses for rewards.
Delve (Exploration)
The Delve is an infinite map where you clear tiles to gather resources and gain experience.
- Starting Zone: All players begin with the same initial layout, ensuring at least 5 Artifacts deposits are visible.
- Unique Maps: Beyond the starting zone, every player's Delve map is unique, including their Regional Empires.
- Movement: Click a tile to move.
- Uncleared Tiles: Entering these requires a battle and costs Robotic Access Keys and Artifacts.
- Cleared Tiles: Once cleared, you can move through them freely.
- Obstruction: Smash rocks using Artifacts; Unbreakable walls cannot be destroyed, you must move sideways to bypass them.
- Rewards: Tiles may drop Genes, A.R.C, Robot Part, Ship Components, Energy, OLT Tokens, Artifacts, and Abyss Fragments.
- Events: The Echoes from Beneath event may trigger randomly while exploring.
Structures
Capturing specific tiles will automatically construct structures:
- Void Hole: Builds a Reactor that powers nearby tiles in a Large Cross Area.
- Worker’s Hideouts: Built on powered tiles. Each hideout provides 1 Worker.
- Artifact Drillers: Built on Artifact Deposits. These require Workers to produce Artifacts.
- Teleporters: You can build up to 10 Teleporters for instant travel. These can be destroyed and relocated if needed.
Workers & Efficiency
Workers are essential for operating Artifact Drillers. You can check your total workforce (excluding Worker's Hideouts) in the Resource Stats.
- Base Workforce: You start with 5 free workers.
